Multi-layer Bean Dip
Serves 8, Preparation Time 35 minutes
Is a party, a party if there is not at least one dip? It most likely can be, but to be certain add our Multi-layer Bean Dip. It is a party favourite. You can build each layer yourself or cheat a little and buy some store bought prepared items along with fresh vegetables and herbs. We look for and buy "zero salt" corn chips to serve with our Multi-layer Bean Dip.

Parties do not need to be a food wasteland. If you buy prepared foods, look for low or no salt, low fat foods and always accompany them some fresh vegetables, fresh fruit, and whole-wheat options. Beans spreads or dips are nutritious, and are better tolerated when you consider the large percentage of people who are lactose intolerant. You might consider making parties healthier a lost cause, especially when alcohol is available and staying out late in the night. You might argue a stronger case suggesting its healthier going to fewer parties then more of them.
